Alberta "Bert" Bryn

Alberta “Bert” R. Bryn, of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away at 8:40 pm Saturday, April 14, 2018, at home and under Hospice Care. She was 98.

Alberta was born July 27, 1919, in Youngstown, a daughter to William R. & Esther (Branfield) Bryn.

A 1937 graduate from South High School, Youngstown, she worked as a payroll clerk for the Youngstown City School District for 25 years. In addition, she also worked for State of Ohio Auditors Office as a School & Library Examiner.

She was of the United Methodist Faith and was a former member of the Quota Club, Youngstown, AARP, and the School Employees Retirement System Retirees Group. In her spare time, Bert enjoyed playing golf and a good card game.

Her survivors include: many nieces and nephews, as well as great ones too.

Preceding her in death are her siblings, Dorothy Reedy, William, John, Howard, David, Robert, Charles, James, Mark, and Albert Adams (her twin).

In accordance to her wishes, no viewing or services will be held. She will be laid to rest next to her family in Belmont Park Cemetery, Youngstown.
