Angelane "Angie" Austin

One of God’s true prayer warriors was called home on during the early morning hours on Sunday, May 5, 2024, as Ms. Angelane “Angie” Austin, of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, transitioned from this life while at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Boardman Campus, following a very brief illness. She was 76.
Angelane was born on May 31, 1947, in Ellaville, Georgia, a daughter to Harry R. and Susie Jane (Cottle) Hart.
She graduated in 1965 from John Lewis High School and retired from General Motors, Lordstown, Ohio, after dedicating 37 years of service to the company.
Apostle Angelane was a member of the New & Living Way Apostolic Church in Jesus Christ, Sharon, Pennsylvania, Phillips Chapel Church of God in Christ, Hubbard, Ohio, and Tabernacle of Faith, Ellaville, Georgia.
In her spare time, Angie enjoyed visiting her family in Georgia. However, she loved Jesus Christ and her church families. She was a devoted Christian who had an unwavering measure of faith. She will truly be missed.
Survivors include: her sons, Paul Hart, of Americus, Georgia, and Keith E. Austin, Jr., of Farrell, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Janae, Chelsea, Paul Jr., Tianna, Justin, Caden, Rowan, Brielle, Cherise, Vincent, & Lavonda; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings, Harry D. Hart, Sr. (Helen), of Albany, New York, and Ida Mae Lampkins, of Americus; a host of nieces and nephews as well as countless friends.
She had a special bond with Tianna and Karhi was her heart beat.
Her parents; and siblings, Willie D. Hart, Arvie Hart, James L. Hart, Ronnie S. Hart, Susie Klee Hart, Ruby V. Jackson, & Mark Landers Hart, preceded her in death.
A time of gathering in honor of Angelane will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 5-7 PM, at the Phillips Chapel Church of God in Christ, 3903 Jacobs Rd., Hubbard, Ohio 44425, and 12-2 PM, Saturday, May 11, 2024, in the New & Living Way Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, 840 Highland Rd., Sharon, Pennsylvania 16146. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM, officiated by Bishop Alvin J. McCoy. She will be laid to rest in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Ellaville, Georgia.
