Carol J. Lytle, of McDonald, Ohio, passed from this life on Thursday, October 20, 2016, while a patient in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Youngstown, Ohio, following a period of declining health. She was 74.
Carol was born on January 1, 1942, in Youngstown, a daughter to Harry G. & Virginia M. (Vallinger) Baumgartner.
She was a proud homemaker for her family. However, through the years, she worked as a bartender for Three’s Company Lounge, Youngstown.
In her spare time, she enjoyed making crafts, playing pool, coaching softball, bowling, attending her grandchildren's school activities, and cooking.
Her survivors include: husband, Robert E. Lytle, Sr., Youngstown; children, Robert E. Lytle, Jr. & his wife Elizabeth, Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, Randy L. Lytle, Richland, Washington, Robyn L. Stitt & her husband Michael, Erie, Pennsylvania, and Eric R. Lytle, McDonald; grandchildren, Alexander, Nicholas, Sarah, Briana, & Raegan; and brothers, Harry G. Baumgartner, Jr. & his wife Linda, McDonald, and Albert J. Baumgartner & his wife Kim, North Jackson, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, John H. Baumgartner.
A celebration of life service will be held in Carol’s honor on Saturday, October 29, 2016, starting at 4 PM in the Village Banquet Center, 1057 Illinois Avenue, McDonald, Ohio 44437. Immediately following her celebration, a time of gathering for her family and friends to share memories and stories of Carol will be offered until 8 PM.
