Caroline Dobozi

Caroline Rose Dobozi, of Brookfield, Ohio, entered eternal peace on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at home as her family surrounded her with love. She was 59.
Caroline was born October 28, 1955, in Draganic` Croatia, a daughter to Janko “John” & Katarina “Katerina” (Krizancic) Ivasic.
Her family came to the United States when she was 13 years old. She graduated from Kennedy Christian High School in 1974, and furthered her education by attending Penn State Cosmetology School.
Caroline loved working as a beautician for Out of Eden Hair Salon, Brookfield. The bond that she developed with her “sissys” at the shop was special to her as well as the love she felt from her clients. She had also previously worked for Dr. DeSantis, DDS, in Hermitage, PA.
She was a member of the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, St. Bernadette Catholic Parish, Masury.
In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, hanging flower baskets, and bargain shopping. Caroline was always helping everyone putting them first. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by: her mother, Katerina, Farrell, PA; her husband, Gary Stephen Dobozi, whom she married November 11, 1978; her children, Josh Dobozi & his wife Kellie, Struthers, OH, Danielle Aulizio & her husband Ceasar, Cortland, OH, and Alexa Dobozi & her fiancé` Jeff Kamovitch, Brookfield, OH; her brother, Peter Ivasic & his wife Andjalka, Pittsburgh, PA; and her granddaughter, Amelia "Millie" Dobozi.
She was preceded in death by her father; and by her sister, Dragica Ivasic.
A time of gathering to honor Caroline’s life will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014, from 5-8 PM, at Briceland Funeral Service, 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, and Monday, November 24, 2014, from 10-11 AM in her church, St. Bernadette, 7800 Locust Street, Masury, Ohio 44438. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11 noon. She will be laid to rest with family in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Farrell.
