Cecil Frank Hulley, Jr.

Cecil Frank Hulley, Jr., of West Middlesex, Pennsylvania, transitioned into his eternal sunset peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. He was 67.

Cecil, whose sunrise was August 25, 1956, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, as he was born a son to Cecil Frank Hulley, Sr. & Augusta (Bohannon) Hulley.

A graduate from Farrell High School in 1974, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. His specialty was a terminal operations coordinator as he was assigned to the 155th Transportation Company. Decorations and citations include: marksman badge with the M-16 rifle, expert badge with a hand grenade, and a good conduct medal. He was honorably discharged from his duties with the rank of specialist E-4.

He worked as a long-distance truck driver.

In his spare time, Cecil enjoyed fishing and watching sports. In addition, he loved cars. However, he was the biggest Pittsburgh Steelers fan, who had black and gold running through his veins.

Survivors include: brother, Bobby Roberson (Deborah) of Sharon; sisters, Eloise Moss, Onia Mae Hulley, both of Sharon, and Annette Morrison (James), of Farrell, Pennsylvania; Avon Crawford, of Farrell, whom he held close to him as a granddaughter; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

His parents; and siblings, Shirley Weaver, McCray Roberson, and Billy Frank Hulley, preceded him in death.

A Memorial Home Going service will be held in his honor on Friday, August 23, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM, at the Word Centered Presbyterian Church, 710 Carnegie Avenue, Sharon, Pennsylvania 16146, where family and friends may pay their respects one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
