Charles “Chuck” Nelson Titchnell, of Cortland, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, while surrounded by the love of his family at the Cleveland Clinic, following an extended illness. He was 49.
Charles was born September 16, 1975, in Warren, Ohio, a son to Silas Nelson Titchnell and Barbara Ann (McCormac) Titchnell.
He was a 1994 graduate of Joseph Badger High School and lastly worked for Bral Corp., located in Warren.
Chuck was a former volunteer fireman for both the Johnston and Vernon Fire Departments.
In his spare time, he loved dirt track racing at Sharon Speedway. Dirt Track racing was his passion. He also enjoyed bowling in the Cortland Bowling League.
His survivors include: wife, Sandra Sue (Cooper) Titchnell, whom he married September 14, 2013; mother, Barbara Ann, of Barberton, Ohio; brother, William Titchnell (Jennifer), of Cortland; twin sisters, Tami Hamilton (John) and Terri Deem (Jamie), both of Norton, Ohio; 6 nephews and nieces; as well as mother-in-law, Frances Cooper, of Aztec, New Mexico.
Preceding him in death were his father; and step-son, Don Stock, Jr.
In accordance to his wishes, no calling hours or services were scheduled. A private gathering was held for his wife and family.
