Charles "Chuckie" Geiger

Charles “Chuckie” L. Geiger, of Masury, Ohio, passed away in his sleep during the late morning hours on Saturday, May 5, 2018, while at home from natural causes. He was 51.

Charles was born December 1, 1966, in Farrell, Pennsylvania, a son to Charles F. & Norene E. (Powell) Geiger.

A 1985 graduate of Brookfield High School, he worked as a stocking clerk for the former Apples Grocery Store, Niles, Ohio.

He loved sports, especially Brookfield High School Football and Basketball. He attended the school games and kept statistics for the fun of it. In his spare time, he followed Professional Golfer, Michelle McGann.

He is survived by: his brother, Earl J. “Petie” Geiger, Masury, Ohio; his niece, Katie A. Guthrie, Warren, Ohio; his aunt & uncle, Ron & Sis Hook; his aunts, JoAnn Powell and Marlene Powell; and his extended family too.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his sister, Tammy L. Guthrie.

A time of gathering in honor of Chuckie will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, from 4 to 6 PM, in the Brookfield Christian Church, located on the Historic Village Green of Brookfield Center. His celebration continues with a memorial service at 6 PM in the church.
