Ebony “Eb” Chanel Savage, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Farrell, Pennsylvania, transitioned from this life on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024, while at home. She was 41.
Ebony was born April 26th, 1983, at Sharon Regional Hospital, a daughter to Lawrence M. Owens and Lila “Rainy” L. Savage-Wright.
She was a 2001 graduate from Farrell Area High School and furthered her education by receiving a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University. While at the university, Eb was the captain of the Golden Reflections Dance Team.
After graduation, she moved to Nevada and was working as a Molecular Sales Consultant for Myriad Neuroscience, Las Vegas.
Ebony had a big heart and she loved spoiling others. Some of her favorite activities include: flying state to state to explore new cities, tasting decadent dishes, and spending time with the family she cherished above all else. She raved about Myriad Neuroscience and their contribution to healthcare alongside the co-workers, doctors, and career acquaintances that made her day-to-day spectacular. She was devoted to the friends who became her “West Coast” family and her beloved canine companion, Brinks, who made life in the fabulous city of Las Vegas worthwhile. She also found time to discover who she was as an individual, spreading love and light wherever she would go.
In her spare time, she enjoyed out of country adventures with friends, single handedly choreographing photoshoots and remembrance videos, expanding her company’s brand, and top shelf bottle service!
Mourning her loss are: mother, Lila “Rainy”, of Farrell; father, Lawrence, of Farrell; grandfather, Bennie Lee Owens, of Berkley, California; siblings, Brandon V. Gilchrist, of Farrell, Tahfaren (aka: “Texas”) L.M. Owens, of Dallas, Texas, Laven M. Day, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Samora L. Savage with baby “V” on the way, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; nieces & nephews, Honesty, Serenity, Lexie, Maliya, Malachi, Brandon, and Maceo; and her puppy dog, Brinks.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernice & Thomas Buckley and Anderson & Lila Savage; and great-grandmother, Stella H. King.
