Faye Adele Golden, of Masury, Ohio, was welcomed into Heaven late Saturday night, January 13, 2024, following an extended illness. She was 71.
Faye was born April 22, 1952, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a daughter to William R. & Florzel (Adams) Hyatt.
She graduated in 1970 from Farrell High School and furthered her education at the Sharon Regional School of Nursing, where she became a registered nurse. Faye dedicated over 36 years to her profession before retiring from the Polk State Center.
In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to music, spending time with her friends and family, going on vacations, and treating herself to some sweets. However, what was most important to her was her church. She loved to worship at the Word Centered Fellowship Church, Sharon, where she was an Elder and sang in the Choir. Faye organized and participated in many events through her church that involved giving back to the community and mentoring children.
Holding her memory closely are her children, Victor Young, of Burke, Virginia, Yauna Hyatt, of Cleveland, Ohio, Stephanie Smith, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Michael Golden, of Farrell, Pennsylvania, and Tiara (Cory) McKenzie, of Masury, who was her caregiver; a step daughter, Autumn Holland, of Columbus Ohio; grandchildren, Christian Dillon Golden, Aubrey Dillon, Eris Angry, Victor Young, Jr., Michael Golden, III, Izzabella Rodriguez, and Ezra Smith; special sisters, Darlene Ousley and Charlene Delacruz; and a special brother, Kenneth Smith.
Her parents preceded her in death.
A Memorial Home Going Service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM, in the Greater Morris Chapel, located at 926 Darr Avenue, Farrell, Pennsylvania 16121.
