Faye E. Losik, of Sharon, Pennsylvania, passed from this life at 4:50 PM on Thursday, July 7, 2016, while a patient in Sharon Regional Hospital, following a period of declining health. She was 69.
Faye was born on July 7, 1947, at home in Fairchance, Pennsylvania, a daughter to Leslie A. & Avalene L. (Leydig) Walters.
After graduating from Uniontown High School, Uniontown, Pennsylvania in 1965, she fell in love with John J. Losik, III. They exchanged vows on March 16, 1967, and together started a family.
She was a proud homemaker for her family. However, through the years, she worked as a waitress for G.C. Murphy & Co., Sharon; as a manager of Stewarts Market Deli, Hubbard, Ohio; a deli-clerk at County Market, Hermitage, Pennsylvania; and as a cook at C's Waffles, Brookfield, Ohio.
In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, being known most for her fried chicken, and baking. More especially, she loved spending time with her grandson, Nicholas.
Her survivors include: daughters, Lorrie L. Losik & Susie Pulawski, both of Sharon; grandson, Nicholas Macovitz; and brothers, Sonny Walters & his wife RuthAnn, Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, Raymond Walters & his wife Linda, Elyria, Ohio, and Junior Walters & his wife Shelly, Uniontown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband who passed December 5, 2007; by her son-in-law, Tim Pulawski; and by her sisters, Phyllis Stewart & Peggy Shaffer.
A time of gathering to honor Faye will be held Monday, July 11, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Briceland Funeral Service, located on the historic village green at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403 concluding the evening with personal reflections by her grandson, Nicholas.
