Guy Hull
February 19, 1939 — February 27, 2015
Guy T. Hull, of Vienna, Ohio, passed from this life at 11:30 am Friday, February 27, 2015, at home following a brief period of declining health. He was 76.
Guy was born February 19, 1939, at home in Vienna Twp., a son to Lyle L. & Doris (Andrews) Hull.
After graduating from Vienna High School in 1957, he was drafted by the U.S. Army to defend our flag and to keep our country free. He was assigned to Fort Hood, Texas, 4th U.S. Army, as a Military Police Officer. Following his honorable discharge, he married the love of his life, Kerry J. Beny, on July 9, 1966. Together they started a family and born to this union were two children, Scott & Erin.
He found employment to support his family with Starr Fabricating, Vienna, where he worked over 40 years as a Supervisor before his retirement.
In his spare time, Guy loved playing golf. So much so, that he was a former golf-pro at Squaw Creek Country Club. In addition, he enjoyed working crossword puzzles. More especially, his yard was his sanctuary. When he wasn’t tending to his surroundings, Guy was cheering on his Cleveland Indians.
He is survived by: his wife, Kerry; his son, Scott C. Hull & his wife Meghan, Parkman, Ohio; his daughter, Erin K. McKinney, Vienna; his two granddaughters, Brenna Kathleen & Madelyn Elizabeth Hull; and by his beloved Mello.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and his sister, Lois Howells.
A time of gathering to honor Guy will be held from 1:30-2:30 PM Monday, March 2, 2015 at the Vienna United Methodist Church, 4265 Warren-Sharon Rd., Vienna, Ohio 44473. His celebration continues with a memorial service at 2:30 PM.
As suggested by his family, material contributions can be made in his honor to the Vienna U.M.C. Memorial Library Fund (or) Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
