Haley Laverne Peterson-Banks

Haley Laverne Peterson-Banks, of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, unexpectedly transitioned from this life on Thursday, December 26, 2024, in the emergency room of UPMC – Shenango following a sudden illness. She was 21.

Haley was born January 15, 2003, in Landstuhl, Germany, a daughter to Henry L. Banks, III & Tracey L. Peterson-Banks.

She was a 2024 graduate of Hickory High School, where she participated on the Bocce Team and Cooking Club.

She was a member of the Greater Mount Zion Church of God in Christ, Farrell, Pennsylvania.

In her spare time, Haley enjoyed watching TV, dancing, and going to the library. She loved chicken, potato chips, & iced coffee. However, spending time with her family is what warmed her heart the most.

Survivors include: her beloved parents, Henry & Tracey, of Hermitage; grandfather, Robert E. Peterson; brothers, Edward Peterson-Banks (Ashley Simeon), of Warren, Ohio, Henry L."JR" (Casey) Peterson-Banks, Jr., of Sharon, Pennsylvania, and Hensley Peterson-Banks, of Hermitage; and sisters, Hannah Peterson-Banks, Contessia Banks, and Lethichia Banks, all of Columbus, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Frank White; and grandmothers, Laverne Peterson & Dorothy Banks.

A Home Going Service to celebrate Haley’s life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 10:30 AM, in the Greater Mount Zion Church of God in Christ, 1825 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, with Superintendent Tyrone T. Steals officiating. Her family & friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 AM also at the church.

Memorial contributions can be made to the church in her honor.
