John J. Stingis, of Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, departed from this life on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in the Emergency Room of U.P.M.C. Horizon – Shenango Valley Campus, Farrell, Pennsylvania, following a period of declining health. He was 62.
John was born January 19, 1956, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a son to Emil & Helen (Tylowski) Stingis.
He graduated from Sharpsville High School in 1973 and worked as a finisher at Sharon Tube Company before retiring.
In his spare time, John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the companionship of his dogs. In addition, he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He is survived by: his brother, Michael G. Stingis (Debbie), Masury, Ohio; his sister, Linda Miller (Walt), Hermitage, Pennsylvania; his niece & 2 nephews; and his 3 great-nieces & great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his nephew, Andrew Stingis.
Private services will be held and he will laid to rest with his family in Hartford Township Cemetery.
