John Raymond Swab, Jr., of Brookfield, Ohio, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, while a patient at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, Ohio, following a sudden illness. He was 61.
John was born March 27, 1956 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, a son to John Raymond & Hilda (Utberg) Swab, Sr.
A 1975 graduate from Brookfield High School, he had owned & operated a trucking fleet working through Erskine Trucking Inc. However, he last worked as a dispatcher for PI&I Motor Express, Masury, Ohio.
In his spare time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing pool. His American Poolplayers Association League Team actually reached the amateur tournament finals held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Survivors include: his sons, John R. Swab, III & his wife Denise, Masury, Mike Swab, Warner Robbins, Georgia, and Jesse Swab & his fiancée Michelle Bergreen, Lafayette, Indiana; his grandchildren, Trevor, Seth, Mason, & London Swab; his brother, Rodney Swab & his wife Tabitha, Omaha, Nebraska; and his extended family too.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his sisters, Bridgot & Brenda Swab; and by his brother, Michael Swab.
