Joshua Lee McQueen, 34, of Masury, Ohio, passed away on November 19, 2024, at the Warren Nursing & Rehab, surrounded by his family following a period of declining health.
He was born on January 13, 1990, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a son to James McQueen Sr. and Patti (Hartzell) McQueen.
Josh earned his diploma from Sharon High School in 2008.
He married his spouse, Danielle Weiser, on September 10, 2016.
Josh was a talented mechanic, who in his spare time enjoyed working on and restoring cars, specifically older dodge trucks. There was no other who knew vehicles the way he did. Anytime anyone had car issues, he was the first one there to help. He loved mudding and going to Yankee Lake Truck Night. He also enjoyed remodeling houses and spending time with friends and family, even if it was just a trip to Walmart at 2 AM. He loved watching Supernatural and his favorite movie was Captain America. In addition, he enjoyed farming and spending as much time as he could with his late grandfather, James McQueen.
We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Throughout the years Josh worked at Commercial Properties, Exal Corp, Vestas Cleaning, GW Catering, and later, as a mechanic for West Hill Automotive.
Survivors include: spouse, Danielle Weiser, of West Middlesex, Pennsylvania; father, James McQueen, Sr.; brother, Matt McQueen, of New Wilmington, Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law, Erin Weiser and Michelle Weiser, both of West Middlesex, and Tara Carano, of Brookfield, Ohio; nephew, Daniel McQueen, of Brookfield; in-laws, Vesta “Gary” Weiser, of West Middlesex; uncle, Eric Hartzell; and his two best friends who had become as close to him as brothers, Chris Hahne, of Greenville, Pennsylvania, and Shane Slicker, of West Middlesex.
Preceded in death by his mother, Patti McQueen; both maternal and paternal grandparents; aunt, Terri Hartzell; and brother, James McQueen.
A private memorial will be held at a later date after the holidays.
