Judith "Aunt Judy" Kaye Hacker

September 9, 1941 — July 6, 2024

Masury

Judith Kaye “Aunt Judy” Hacker, of Masury, Ohio, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, July 6, 2024, while a patient at O’Brien’s Memorial Nursing Home, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was 82.

Judy was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, on September 9, 1941, a daughter to Edward R. & Stella L. (Hibler) Hacker.

She graduated from Brookfield High School in 1959 and worked as a department manager for Valley View Department Store and Hills.

“Aunt Judy”, as she was commonly referred to by most everyone, was very family oriented. Though she never had children, her nieces and nephews were the center of her life. She had framed pictures of them all displayed at her home. She loved taking care of her family and adored them.

In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, spending time with family, babysitting all of her “kids”, crocheting, taking care of her flowers, shopping (usually for others), and eating out with friends.

Survivors include: her siblings, Joyce E. Page, of Coral Springs, Florida, Kenneth R. Hacker, of Pampanga, Philippines, Edward "Ted" Hacker (Peggy), of Dayton, Ohio, and Don A. Hacker, of Masury; and a host of nieces and nephews; as well as great ones too; and her best friend, Terry DeArment (Craig), of Hartford, Ohio, and their family.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Delores Uber; and nephews, Jeffrey L. Page, Brian P. Hacker, Kyle Uber, & Mark Stevens.

A time of gathering to honor Aunt Judy’s life will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 5-7 PM, in the home of Briceland Funeral Service, LLC, located at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio. Her celebration continues on Friday, July 12, 2024, with a service beginning at 11:00 AM, also in the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in the Brookfield Township Cemetery next to her family.

As suggested by her family, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601 (or) www.alz.org
