Linda Lee Craig, of New Castle, Pennsylvania, passed away during the early morning hours of Sunday, September 23, 2018, in the home of her daughter and while under Hospice Care. She was 73.
Linda was born September 21, 1945, in Amherst, Ohio, a daughter to Robert & Jacqueline (Goodwin) Phillips.
A 1963 graduate from Elyria High School, she furthered her education by attending the Lorain County Community College.
She worked as a Classified Manager for the New Castle News for 26 plus years before she officially retired in 2015.
In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: her husband of 54 years, Robert G. Craig, whom she married September 4, 1964; her 3 children; her father; her several brothers and sisters; and her any grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; and her grandparents, Blanche and Oris Lee.
In accordance to her wishes, no viewing will be held. A private service will be held where she will be laid to rest next to husband’s family in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.
