Lisa Gambill

January 9, 1969 — July 14, 2020

Lisa A. Gambill, of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, following an extended illness. She was 51.

Miss Lisa was born January 9, 1969, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a daughter to Randolph Gambill, II & Eddie May Jones.

She graduated from Sharon High School in 1988, and furthered her education at the Penn State University Shenango Campus where she received an associate degree in human development and family studies.

Lisa loved working in child care as a teacher’s aide. In addition, she also may be remembered for working at Denny’s, Burger King, and Chipotle.

With an abundance of faith, Miss Lisa belonged to the Bethlehem Baptist Church and One Kingdom Ministries. In her spare time, she enjoyed scrapbooking and cooking. She absolutely adored kids. However, spending time with family gave her the most joy.

She is survived by: her daughters, Bria S. Gambill, of Sharon, and Marrenda B. Gambill, of Farrell, Pennsylvania; her mother, Eddie May Surratt (Robert), of Farrell; her sisters, Charlene Norris, of Sharon, Jean Mott (John), of Snellville, Georgia, Rochell B. Fleeton (James White), of Sharon, and Sonji Q. Jackson (Michael), of Youngstown, Ohio; her brother, Darren Gibson, of Farrell; and a host of special friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; by a son, Sharief D. Gambill; by her siblings, Randolph Gambill, III, and Laura A. Sanders; and by her maternal grandmother, Willie Mae Phillips.
