Mary Hubish, of Brookfield, Ohio, entered eternal rest at 7:50 AM on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 following an extended illness. She was 89.
Mary was born December 5, 1928, at home in Farrell, Pennsylvania, a daughter to Joseph & Helen (Ratatjaich) Zdelar.
On October 2, 1954, she married Anthony “Tony” Hubish and together they started a family. Born to this union were four children: John, Jim, Donna and Deborah.
She was a member of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Vienna, Ohio.
Mary enjoyed working on the farm, gardening, traveling and caring for her many beloved pets.
She is survived by her children, John Hubish, Youngstown, Ohio, Jim Hubish (Kathie), Brookfield, Donna Yassall, Warren, Ohio, and Deborah Chupak, Maryville, Tennessee; her sister, Pauline Yasnowski, Sharpsville, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Jimmy Hubish, Ashley Yassall, Anthony Yassall, Andrew Yassall, Rebekah Chupak, Mary Ellen Chupak, & John Andrew Chupak; and her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Tony, who died in 1976; and her brother, John Zdelar.
The Holy Rosary was prayed by Father Denis Bouchard, FSSP, of the Queen of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, followed by a memorial service in honor of Mrs. Hubish on Friday, June 8, 2018, in the home of Briceland Funeral Service, 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403, with Reverend Julia Wike presiding. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Brookfield Township Cemetery.
