Mary Alice Wasko, of Masury, Ohio, formerly of Sharon, Pennsylvania, went home at 12:00 PM Wednesday, August 15, 2018, while a patient in the Addison Health Care Center, Masury, following an extended illness. She was 73.
Mary was born September 5, 1944, in Wimber, Pennsylvania, a daughter to Clair E. & Nellie M. (Schmidt) Martell.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Shenango Valley Baptist Church, Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting various items. She had an extensive DVD movie selection to satisfy anyone. Survivors include: her son, Michael Scott Wasko, Sharpsville, Pennsylvania; her siblings, Katherine E. Puhala (William), and Robert C Martell, all of Sharon; and her nieces and nephews, great ones too.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her siblings, John E. Martell & Judith I. Martell.
A time of gathering to honor Mary’s life will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2018, from 2-4 PM in the home of Briceland Funeral Service, located on the historic village green at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403. Her celebration continues with a funeral service at 4 PM.
