MaryAnn Kilgore

MaryAnn Kilgore, of Masury, Ohio, peacefully passed away Sunday afternoon, February 2, 2025, following a period of declining health. She was 77.

MaryAnn was born December 4, 1947, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Thomas) Franko.

She graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1966 and worked at General Motors, Packard Electric Division, building wiring harnesses. She dedicated over 43 years of service to the company before retiring. MaryAnn was a member of the International Union of Electrical Workers, Local 717. After retiring, she became a receptionist at the Jewish Community Center in Youngstown, Ohio, where she loved greeting members and meeting new people. 

In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading, and gardening, as well as spending time with her family and friends. She had an adventurous spirit, loved to ride motorcycles, was an active jogger, and enjoyed skydiving in her youth. She had a great sense of humor, filled with sass, and was always quick to find the good in others. 

She was of the Catholic faith. 

Mourning her loss are her devoted daughters, Michele Bliss (Jason), of Danville, California, and Lori Kilgore, of Masury; her loving life partner, Joseph Geiser of Masury; brother, Stephen Franko, of Austintown, Ohio; sisters, Theresa Kemp (Bill), of Warren, and Kathleen Mosko, of Las Vegas, Nevada; nieces, Bekki Kemp-Gibbs (Andrew), and Kantele Rouan (Rick) & their son, Charlie; nephew, Brian Mosko; and stepdaughter, Heather Dimeris and her children, Christopher & Melina.

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

A memorial service to honor MaryAnn’s life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM, in the home of Briceland Funeral Service, LLC, located at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403.

Expressions of sympathy may be left for her family at www.briceland funeral service.com. The family asks that any donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
