Ola Pearl “Rocky” Lee, of Youngstown, Ohio, transitioned from this life surrounded by her the love of her family while at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Boardman Campus, following a brief illness. She was 76.
Ola was born on October 8, 1948, in Farrell, Pennsylvania, a daughter to Ellis and Lucille (Thomas) Vaughan.
She was a proud homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith.
In her spare time, “Rocky” enjoyed reading, going to bingo, and watching crime shows on TV.
Survivors include: her children, Tammie Roberson, Roxanne Owens, Gloria Gillespie, Carolene Taylor, Arealus Lee, Jr., Tonya Gibson, and Susan Turner; sisters, Dorothy May Vaughn and Mary Lucille Young Jones; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; as well as 12 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arealus Lee, Sr., whom she married June 10, 1967, he passed July 7, 2010; son, Artis Lee Jr.; daughter, Cynthia May Lee; and sisters, Edna Vaughan & Arlene Young.
A time of gathering in honor of Ola Pearl will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 10-11 AM, in the Greater New & Living Way Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, 840 Highland Rd., Sharon, Pennsylvania 16146. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM, officiated by Bishop Alvin J. McCoy. She will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
