Pietro A. “Pete” Pascale, of Masury, Ohio, passed away at 2:00 am Sunday, February 22, 2015, while a patient of the Sharon Regional Health Care System as a result of a brief illness. He was 90.
Pete was born February 22, 1925, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son to Luigi & Rosalia (Polce) Pascale.
Following an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army, he married his love, Teresa A. Conti on February 12, 1955, and together they started a family. Born to this union were four children: Pete, Louis, Marti & Lisa.
Pete supported his young family by owning and operating Pete’s Grocery Store, Masury, for almost 25 years.
In his spare time, he loved archeological explorations. He traveled the world with Earth Watch Expeditions, Boston, Mass, to places such as: Egypt, Turkey, Greenland, Jerusalem, and various areas of Northern Africa. In addition, he enjoyed fishing, reading, and wine making.
He is survived by: his children, Pete Pascale, Marti Marmion, & Lisa Pascale, all of Masury; his three grandchildren, Regina Myers & her husband Jason, Peter & Preston Pascale; and his brother, Dr. Sabatino Pascale, Palm Beach, Florida.
Preceding him in death are his wife Teresa, who passed on February 12, 2000; his son, Louis Pascale; & his granddaughter, Maggie Marmion.
In accordance to his wishes, no calling hours or services will be held. He will be laid to rest with family in Brookfield Township Cemetery.
As suggested by his family, material contributions can be made to the Maggie Marmion Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o the funeral home.
