Raella (Montgomery) Baker, of Brookfield, Ohio, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 23, 2025, while a patient at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, following a cardiac event. She was 77.

Raella was born in North Wildwood, New Jersey, on August 18, 1947, a daughter to Hays F. & Pauline L. (Johnson) Montgomery, Sr.

She graduated in 1965 from Brookfield High School and worked as an assembler for Packard Electric, Warren, Ohio, for 31 ½ years before retiring in 1999.

Her memberships included: Brookfield Christian Church; past Worthy Matron and past Grand Marshall of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #518, Hartford, Ohio (now Opal Chapter #181, Cortland, Ohio); president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brookfield Township Volunteer Fire Department, a 52-year member; and volunteer at the Brookfield Community Outreach Thanksgiving Dinners.

In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the Brookfield Diner with her husband and traveling. She loved her grandchildren and spending time volunteering for her community fire department.
