Richard “Richie” M. Felicetty, Jr., of Masury, Ohio, peacefully passed away in his sleep during the early morning hours of Thursday, February 2, 2017, while at home following a brave fight with cancer. He was 58.
Richie was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on January 29, 1959, a son to Richard M. and Betty Lou (Swogger) Felicetty, Sr.
A 1978 graduate from Brookfield High School, he worked as a radiator technician for Bowser’s Garage & Radiator Repair Shop, Cortland, Ohio.
In his spare time, he enjoyed go-cart racing with his son, listening to music, and devoutly cheering for his Cleveland Browns.
Survivors include: his mother, Betty Lou, Masury; his son, Richard M. Felicetty, III, Masury, his daughters, Amy L. Miley, Masury, and Kayleen "Kay Kay" L. Papp, Farrell, Pennsylvania; his three grandchildren, Hayley Miley, Zane Miley, & Seth Vigus; his siblings, Patricia A. Darke, Hubbard, Ohio, Betty Lou Marsh (Scott), Austintown, Ohio, Renea A. Suit (William), Brookfield, Ohio, and Diana L. Hook (Dennis), Orangeville, OH; as well as his many extended family members too.
He was preceded in death by his father; and by a sister, Sharon Susak.
A time of gathering to honor Richie will be held Sunday, February 5, 2017, from 2 to 5 PM, at Briceland Funeral Service, LLC, located on the historic village green at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403. His funeral service will be private.
