Stephen “Steve” E. Lopuchovsky, 66, of Hubbard, Ohio, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, following an extended illness.
Stephen was born on July 26, 1958, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a son to George and Octavia “Katie” (Denamen) Lopuchovsky.
He graduated from Northside High School in 1976 and furthered his education at the Ohio Institute of Technology in Columbus, Ohio.
He worked as a heavy-duty parts man for Youngstown Kenworth. He retired after dedicating over 25 years to the company.
Steve was a member of the Hubbard VFW and the Marconi Club. However, he may be remembered as one of the regulars at Al's Pub & Grill.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, camping, and making people laugh.
Survivors include: children, Stevie Bayer, Josh Bayer, Stephanie Lopuchovsky, Danielle Lopuchovsky (Michael Antoniazzi), Zachary Lopuchovsky, Nadine Cretella (Jonathan), and Nicole Baker (Alex); grandchildren, Kaley Lopuchovsky, Nathan Lopuchovsky, Mackenzy Scott, Levi Lopuchovsky , Olivia Baker, and Easton Baker; siblings, George Lopuchovsky (Jeanne), Rosemary Astone (Patrick), Anne Osborne, and Mary Washington; step-brothers, Mike Witt and Joseph Witt; grand-dogs, Cali, Diesel, Stella, Remi, and Chip; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and step-brother, James Witt.
A time of gathering to honor Steve will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 4 to 6 PM, in the home of Briceland Funeral Service, LLC, 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403.
