Steven Dean Mosley, of Farrell, Pennsylvania, went to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, while a patient at UPMC – Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, following an extended illness. He was 56.
Steven was born April 17, 1968, in Greenville, Pennsylvania, a son to Herbert & Betty Jane (Hendricks) Mosley.
He graduated from Farrell High School in 1986 and shortly thereafter, enlisted with the U.S. Army to defend our flag and to help keep our country free. He was honorably discharged from his duties.
Steven worked as a truck driver for Hilltrux Trucking Line, Warren, Ohio.
He was a member of Cedar Avenue Church of God in Christ.
In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and traveling. In addition, he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Survivors include: his wife, Lynnette Patrice (Cummings) Mosley, whom he married October 29, 2011; children, Tiffany Dye, of Alabama, Xavier Mosley, of Virginia, Trenton Mosley, of Calabasas, California, & Erika Mosley (Deilona), of Pittsburgh; step-son, Dyrelle Hart (Andrea), of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kash, Danielle, Mazi, & Kairo; siblings, Laurie Phillips (Luther), of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, Vickie Tribble (Ronald), of Farrell, John Baker (Anita), Rotico Baker (K’Lon), both of Maryland, Twan Baker, of Butler, Pennsylvania, & Jason Baker, of Pittsburgh; lil sister, Rochelle White; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, & countless friends; as well as his fur pup, BeBe.
His parents; and a grandson, Ja'Caden, preceded him in death.
A Home Going service will be held in Steven’s honor on Saturday, April 19, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM, at the Cedar Avenue Church of God, 1045 Cedar Avenue, Sharon, Pennsylvania 16146, where family and friends may pay their respects one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
