Susan "Sue" Gerthung

Susan “Sue” Clara Gerthung, of Masury, Ohio, passed away at 11:35 PM Monday, August 27, 2018, at Addison Healthcare Center, Masury, following a period of declining health. She was 67, only 25 minutes shy of her 68th birthday.

Sue was born August 28, 1950, in Somers Point, New Jersey, a daughter to Morris Albert & Sara Jane (Gail) Dougherty.

She attended Mainland Regional High School in New Jersey and she graduated from the Shenango Valley Business School. She was proud to be a homemaker for her family, and was a committed follower of Jesus.

In her spare time, she enjoyed baking, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include: her sons, Brian Dougherty (Michelle), Fort Stewart, Georgia, Michael Nale (Jamie), Cortland, Ohio, Richard Nale, Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, and William, “Willie” Gerthung, Sharon, Pennsylvania; her daughters, Lynda Pearage (Todd), Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, and Sarah Del Losso (Mike), Hermitage, Pennsylvania, her 13 grandchildren; Shon, Shannon, Travis, Trevor, Brianna, Caleb, Addyson, Billy, Trent, Reese, Grayson, Nathanial, & Sophia; and her siblings, Albert Patrick Dougherty, Washington, and Gail Taylor, South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, William Gerthung, who died in 1994.

In accordance to her wishes, no services will be held.
