Thomas Baxter

Thomas (Tom) W. Baxter, 74, of Warren, Ohio, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 21, 2018.

He was born January 13, 1944, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a son to John and Isabel (Abernathy) Baxter.

Tom retired after 33 years from the Trumbull County Engineer Highway Maintenance Department.

Tom attended Brookfield High School and in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his sons, Thomas, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky,  Wesley (Susan) of Dahlonega, Georgia, and Christopher (Kim) of Willoughby, Ohio; sisters, Betsy Sharley, Morgantown, West Virginia, Sally Baxter, Leetonia, Ohio, and Lovie Swogger, Masury, Ohio; brother, Jim Baxter, Girard, Ohio; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; former wife, Lola (Guthrie) Baxter-Vrankovich, plus nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anna (Brown) Baxter; sisters, Jane Kulikowsky, Agnes Allan, and Peg Nalley; brothers, William (Bud), Robert (Bob), Silas and one who died in infancy; and 2 nieces & 2 nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Briceland Funeral Service, Brookfield, Ohio.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
