Tommy Hutchinson, Jr., of Masury, Ohio, passed away as a result of injuries sustained from an automobile accident during the early morning hours of Sunday, July 16, 2023. He was 26.
Tommy was born March 6, 1997, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a son to Thomas B. Hutchinson, Sr. & Pamela L. (Cantrell) Hutchinson.
He graduated in 2015 from Brookfield High School, where he was a 3-year varsity letter recipient in football. He was currently enrolled in Barber’s school at Raphael’s, Niles, Ohio.
In his spare time, Tommy enjoyed playing softball in Hubbard for the Mahoning Valley Sports Network. He also liked lifting weights and hanging with his friends. He was a hard-working young man who valued his family, friends, and the lessons life presented to him. He had a good heart and a matching soul. He will truly be missed.
His family includes: mother, Pam & Bill VanHoose; father, Tom Hutchinson & Nicol Danus; sisters, Samantha & Prince Mays, and Kristen DiClaudio, all of Sharon; grandmother, Ella Cantrell; grandfather, Donald Hutchinson; special brothers, Matthew Penwell & Jake Cantrell; and a host of nieces and nephews; as well as many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dayton Cantrell; and grandmother, Rosalind Hutchinson.
A time of gathering to honor Tommy will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 5-8 PM, in the home of Briceland Funeral Service, LLC, located at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403. He will be laid to rest privately in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
