Vincent Paul Galano, of Masury, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family following a brief illness. He was 81.
Paul was born March 8, 1943, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a son to Palmerino & Jennie (Albini) Galano.
He graduated from Brookfield High School in 1961. While performing in the high school play, he met the love of his life Karen Taylor. They’ve been side-by-side since marrying March 2, 1962. Born to this union were four children: Keith, Jill, Jimmy, and Kenny.
Paul worked at GATX until the time of their closing going on to work at Ivor J Lee’s. In his spare time, he DJ’d for several years. Upon retirement, Paul collected and sold vinyl records via flea markets and antique malls. Not only was he passionate about his music, he was an avid lover of sports, especially his Guardians, Cavaliers, Buckeyes, and Brookfield Warriors. He was past president of Brookfield Youth Baseball and coach.
Paul was a loyal friend to all and nothing meant more to him than his family and friends. He and Karen have shared a weekly tradition of eating out with high school classmates for decades. Paul looked forward to annual vacations with his family.
